Not a good atmosphere. Pub taken over by Newman Road pub that closed recently - Wincobank Hotel.
Friday was the worst night. Loud music. Several men smoking inside and outside, where they should be. Music turned up loud in both rooms, which annoys people in the lounge because if playing dominoes concentration is lost and you can't have a chat without shouting. Wacky backy is smelt in the toilet area and in the car park. People are always moving about in and out of the pub, taking over the bar in the lounge turning the music up loud then disappearing outside.
Not a friendly pub like it used to be when Pete was the landlord.

Not very good now. Previous landlord has left due to illness. Snooker table took out, noisy music, smoking in lounge, and previous games room noisy. Crowd from pub on Newman Road always in and out of lounge and back room, always swearing and very loud with it. Not comfortable when going in. Will be looking for somewhere else if things don't change.
