Situated on Abbeydale Road in the Sheffield Antiques Quarter, The Broadfield has a long history. Since our refurbishment in 2012 we've made a real effort to restore the pub to its former glory, serving good food and great drinks in a friendly atmosphere.
Our beers are sourced from locally, including our own brewery, to internationally, and the same goes for our wines and spirits. We have a single malt whisky from every working distillery in Scotland, gins ranging from our own True North Sheffield Dry Gin to Japan, wines from around the world and a whole host of other drinks to boot.
In the restaurant, we take exactly the same approach to our menus and service. Serving everything from oriental-inspired dishes to pub classics like our award-winning pies & sausages, you're sure to find something that takes your fancy, with a friendly face to bring it to you and ensure your experience is a great one.

What a surprise package this pub turned out to be. We'd not been before, but I guess like lots of people, we'd passed it many times.
Hey, don't pass it by, go in! Friendly, chatty staff, good selection of beers, really good food, a lovely beer garden at the back, and a particular plus on the night that we were there, an impromptu performance from a barbershop choir who it seems rehearse nearby. Their singing got the whole beer garden rocking, a great night. Try to catch them if you plan a visit to this gem of a pub.

My family and I embarked on an outing to The Broadfield, despite hearing questionable reviews from friends. We suspended our reservations and visited anyway.
Upon arrival we ordered drinks from the bar, and were told by the lifeless and uninspired staff that food was available to be eaten outdoors. However, when we decided to order food we found the truth to be at variance with what we had been told. The staff were rude and disengaged when my wife enquired about ordering food and declared that they were fully booked after they had clearly told us that food was readily available to be eaten outside.
I am offended and appalled at such treatment of paying customers, especially considering that I had 6 hungry mouths to feed. The irritating attitudes of the staff and the complete disregard of customer service made this "establishment" one of the worst I have yet to come across in Sheffield.
Furthermore, after finishing my flat and tasteless pint, we left enraged and disillusioned. I heard this was once a great pub. What went wrong?

Really good homely welcome, fine cask ales, and the food is really good value for money. Can't fault the place. Staff are brilliant - always smiling.
