Hoffenbrau is a unique addition to Sheffield's nightlife. After a full refurbishment we're proud to introduce Hoffenbrau German-style bierkeller to the heart of the Steel City. We've got live music every Friday and Saturday night, plus our unique Bavarian Bottomless Brunch every Saturday from midday.
We have added a new listing for Hoffenbrau, one of Sheffield's latest bars located at 117 Rockingham Street in Sheffield city centre. Housed in a historic Victorian school building dating back to 1897, this German-style tavern has undergone a remarkable transformation to become the epitome of vibrant nightlife in Sheffield.
Formerly known as Soyo, a popular bar that served the community for almost 15 years until 2021, the building has been given a new lease on life and re-imagined as Hoffenbrau. Following a thorough refurbishment, the tavern now stands as a testament to the fusion of tradition and modernity, providing a unique and inviting space for patrons to gather, celebrate, and immerse themselves in the rich German bierkeller culture.
At Hoffenbrau, the spirit of Germany comes alive, with a particular focus on the beloved tradition of Bavarian hospitality. Every Friday and Saturday night, the venue pulses with the rhythms of live music, creating an atmosphere that resonates with the vibrant energy of Sheffield's nightlife.
One of Hoffenbrau's standout offerings is its Bavarian Bottomless Brunch, a culinary experience that transports guests to the heart of Bavaria. Held every Saturday from midday, this brunch extravaganza promises an array of German delicacies paired with a bottomless supply of Bavarian goodness.
