News for Four Leaf:
A well-known former Sheffield venue, previously operating as Broncos, is set to reopen as "The Four Leaf," an Irish-themed pub. Located on West Street, this transformation marks a new chapter for the building, which has seen multiple changes over the past decade.
The site, previously famous as an American rodeo bar and diner where patrons could try their hand at riding a bucking bronco, has been closed since a fatal incident in October 2021. 26-year-old Jessica Lally died after suffering a cardiac arrest following a fall from the mechanical bull. This event led to a temporary closure of Broncos and an investigation by council officials, which concluded that the mechanical bull was not related to the cause of death. Despite reopening briefly, Broncos eventually shut down.
The venue is now set to reopen under the Harrogate-based brand Four Leaf. This new Irish-themed pub aims to offer a modern take on classic Irish hospitality, boasting "good food, great drink, and amazing live music" seven days a week. A large banner announcing the upcoming opening has already been placed on the front of the building, signalling a fresh start for this well-known location.
