We have removed the Runaway Girl bar, formerly of 111 Arundel Street in Sheffield city centre from our website, as it has closed down and is now Silversmiths restaurant.
The Coach & Horses pub on Station Road in Chapeltown is hosting its annual Party In The Car Park on bank holiday Monday, August 29. The event is being held to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The event will see 5 bands performing live on an outdoor stage at 1PM as well as family entertainment such as face painting for kids and an all-day barbecue.
Admission is free but a donation to Macmillan Cancer Support will be requested.
Door staff at the Wagon pub in Chapeltown will be joined by police officers this weekend in a bid to deter troublemakers. Landlord Simon Parks said that he is "fed up with a small group of people ruining everyone else's enjoyment" and has upgraded his CCTV system and introduced a new dress code to make customers feel safer.
We have removed the R & R Bar and added its replacement, the Scholar at 13 London Road just outside Sheffield city centre.
We have removed the Old Harrow Inn, formerly of White Lane at Gleadless from our website, as it has closed permanently. The former pub is now an Indian restaurant.
The pub formerly known as the Shakespeare Hotel on Gibraltar Street at West Bar reopened at the end of July 2011 as Shakespeare's. It now stocks a wide range of real ales, ciders and international beers.
