A plan to close one of our Sheffield pubs, The Fellbrigg at Norfolk Park, has angered many of its customers! What's more, the pub may be turned into a church, which would be used by St Leonard's at Norfolk Park and St Paul's at Arbourthorne.
Last Orders ? ? ? It was announced on 20th March that one of Sheffield's oldest pubs could become appartments! The Bell Hagg Inn, which dates back to around the 1830s and overlooks some of the best views in the city, may be turned into five appartments. The owner, Mr John Chidlaw, who bought the pub in 1995, wants to turn the pub into housing. These plans willl go before Sheffield Council's planning board soon. Boooo!
