This pub is the warmest, friendliest pub I have had the pleasure to visit. When I moved to the area, I was informed not to go in this pub, as it was one of the roughest in Sheffield. I don't think so, as a woman I can even say it is safe to go, sit and have a quiet drink by yourself. Although you won't be alone for long, as the locals that have been coming in this pub for years and the new locals that have started coming in the last few years are so friendly!

I recommend a drink in this pub whether you fancy a quiet pint, a game of snooker, to join in the cards games, a romantic bottle of wine or a full blown PARTY. I love this pub, it caters for everything!

Also this pub is well known for being one of the best pints of cider and lager this side of Sheffield!
