Went yesterday for the first time since the revamp, and unfortunately, it will be the last.

I have eaten in Champs regularly for the past 3 or 4 years, and was looking forward to sampling the new menu. The old one had become rather tired, although the food was consistently good.

The prices have increased whilst the quality has faded.

The new menu is extremely confused, with no obvious direction. The new decor (in the restaurant side at least) is depressing. The service is poor, notably due to very few staff.

The food was very disappointing. Our undercooked mains arrived around 3/4 of an hour after the waitress took the order, and it wasn't exactly busy. God knows what it's like at peak times.

Bring back the old Champs, please.
