Called in this pub on Sunday and what a pleasant surprise. Very good indeed and will be returning. - Sue Shaw, 26th October 2011
We visit friends in Ecclesfield often & we always visit Meadow Farm for lunch. Great value for money & quality food.

Very disappointed. The decor is lovely but the prices for food here are comparable with decent restaurant prices in this area.
Portions were minuscule. Sharing are platters not big enough to be shared - not even with a mouse! I suggest they do some market research - customers do not want to feel ripped off.
We definitely would not recommend it & will not eat there again. - Julia Owen, 3rd October 2011
Visited the newly refurbished Nook for lunch on a weekday. Very impressed!
Excellent service and the pub has a really up to date feel now. Superb value at 2 meals for £5. Would definitely recommend. - Nick Morris, 1st October 2011
After a recent change of bar management and certain members of staff this now is the premier real ale house in the WHOLE of Sheffield not just the south. But shhhhhh... it's a secret, alright? - Nigel Palmer, 30th September 2011
I have used this restaurant frequently since it opened and always found the food and service excellent, but I do feel the time has come for a change to the menu. - Kenneth Brewster, 29th September 2011
Great karaoke night on Fridays from 9PM. Special offers on drinks, discounted food for students, big screen TV, pool table. Warm and friendly atmosphere. A great all round pub. - Janet Marshall, 27th September 2011
This pub is run by two of the most welcoming hosts. It is a well-kept pub, beer is great and the two ladies running it always give you a warm welcome. Will definitely be going back. - Julie Jones, 25th September 2011
Went there on Sunday with family and had the carvery. The beef was just so good and really had too much on my plate (not a complaint here). Good choice of nicely cooked veg and spud options.
When quality and price are all considered, I would say this was the best carvery-type meal I've ever had. - Gary, 20th September 2011
A quality pub with an array of local ales and hand-pulled ciders, wines and spirits. Staff are very friendly and hospitable. Has a lovely roof-top terrace to relax on, and function room available for private hire up to about 60 people. Regular events and promotions.
An ideal little pub in the back streets of the city to relax after a day in the office. Open all day! - Rick Howard, 14th September 2011
