Decent pub with a large beer garden at the rear that is usually full of customers' kids on a sunny warm day. We usually detour and decamp after taking the hound for a walk and he loves the Sharps Doom Bar (as do I). There is a pool table, no music (hooray) and a nice lounge. There are also usually a couple of guest ales on.

A nice old fashioned family pub at the edge of the village overlooking the green. The landlord and landlady make you feel really welcome and the service is great!

They have a large beer garden with a play area for the kids and a large lawn. The selection of drinks is good and they have real ale on tap. They don't do food though. One of their rooms can be hired for functions with or without buffet style food.

We happened to stumble across this one on a nice sunny day, and if it where anywhere near me I would definitely make it my local!
