New Inn Pub Reviews

Just seen the review below and thought I'd add my two penneth! I have been visiting the New Inn recently after Richard and Andrea took over. The atmosphere seems really good, there are loads of drinks on offer and the pub has been massively re-vamped.
I went there on bonfire night and had a really great evening. I've also eaten there a couple of times and the food has been brilliant every time.
Overall, couldn't wish for a better pub - it's quite big too.

Well what can I say? Fantastic! Such a nice place now it has been taken over by a new landlord and lady. I went in on Friday with a few old school friends and had an amazing night. There were so many different drinks available and the food was like being in a top restaurant. And after we had eaten at 8:30PM the DJ started. What a fantastic night.
I had such a good night I went back on Sunday for my Sunday dinner with my family. And I have to say it was the best I had ever had. So relaxed, just perfect.

Shocking service. Bar maids that don't know price of a glass of wine, didn't know how to open a new bottle of wine - she gave to a customer to open - TRUE. Also didn't have a large glass for wine - wanted serve two small glasses. Never again - embarrassing.

A 5-star brilliant staff, the very best landlady I have ever seen, always working for you to make you welcome. I love it, must be the best recommended pub in Norton, and I go out all the time, not like some who only go out for Christmas and dish the dirt. Give it a go, a chance you will love it. You cannot find a better place to have some fun. It's the place to be.

Nice food at a nice price.
Xmas menus out now. £6.50 for a 4-course OAP Xmas dinner throughout December, and the menu's not bad, either .
Sunday dinner is still same the price of £3.95 and it's all home made. Not to be missed.

Fantastic! The food is amazing, the staff were friendly, lovely environment couldn't ask for more. Worth the visit, homemade food at its best, simple the way it should be.

Having decided to try our new local and having passed the pub every day, we thought we'd try the advertised "amblers family restaurant" We rung the pub to check what time they served food and reserved a table.
We were early so sat down at a table only to be told that that was where the band would set up and our table was being laid specially over the other side. When we took our seats, the table was wet with beer; the cutlery dirty and someone didn't know their left from their right.
No effort was made to make us feel welcome or move the swearing teenage clients from around the table. As we changed our minds to go somewhere else the staff seemed really surprised!
Not the family restaurant it advertises outside!
