A jewel in the crown is an apt way of describing the "Turf".

When you enter this "proper pub" you will be given a warm welcome by either Martin or Jane or any of the friendly bar staff. Straightaway you will feel at home.

This is a pub with something for everyone, the Turf comes into its own in the summer months when you can enjoy a smashing pint and just watch the world go by sat outside. Do take time to look at the hanging baskets on the front, which are superb.

10 out of 10 for this pub, I recommend a visit, and you will see that I am spot on.
