This pub is crying out to be bought by someone willing to turn it into a nice pub with good food. Or maybe a restaurant.

There are so many people living in Hackenthorpe now, with the newer estates with no decent local pub to go to unless they take on the walk to the Gypsy Queen near Crystal peaks.

Please, please, please, lets have a Gypsy Queen type of pub in Hackenthorpe. Instead of two pubs that no one dare go in.

With a great landlady and entertainments manager, along with DJ Dazza, this pub is the one to be in!

Quieter in the week, but has a quiz on Wednesday nights from 9:30PM with a free buffet and a gallon of ale to the winner! The live singer appears every Friday night, so far so good! Then comes DJ Dazza on Saturday (disco) and Sundays (karaoke), brace yourselves for the wit and sarcasm from him plus the brilliant up-to-date and old tunes.

Very friendly customers and great bar staff, with a wide range of ages. Whichever mood you feel, this pub is bound to bring smiles!

The landlord of the Blue Bell Inn at Hackenthorpe was assaulted by a robber who escaped with an amount of cash. The robbery took place on Sunday 1st September.
