We are regular visitors to The Ball on Wednesday nights for a meal and a catch up with friends. Tonight the pub was the busiest we've seen it for a long time. However, the food was excellent tonight and we all really enjoyed our meals.
The difference tonight was that the chef, Garion, came out of the kitchen to ask if we had enjoyed our food, and nothing was too much trouble for him or the waiter who served our meals. Not sure if Garion is a new chef, and his assistant, James, too, but hope they are here to stay, as the meals tonight were the best we have had there for a while.
