I have never written or thought the need to write a review before, and I only do this to stop people making the same mistake as myself.
Do not go to the Olive Bar & Restaurant for something to eat.
We booked in early for 6PM, and were placed in the main bar surrounded by drinkers. No one else was eating, the place seemed dirty, and the service was appallingly bad.
I asked what everybody wanted, and went up to the bar to order, as nobody had come to take our order, but just couldn't bring myself to do it.
So I asked for the bill for the drinks, and was charged £45 for 1 bottle of wine and 1 beer. I gave £50 without even thinking, and they apologised and said they'd got it wrong and gave me £10 change.
Only when I sat down did I think this can't be right, so I went back to the bar, and they apologised again, saying they'd charged me for 2 bottles of wine by mistake, and gave me another £15 back. Only in hindsight I realised this was still wrong, as it should only have cost £18.
As we were leaving, 50 minutes after we'd arrived, someone came to take our order.
For me it isn't the issue on the money to why the Olive Bar is so awful, it is not a restaurant. Please don't make the same mistake as myself, and even contemplate eating there.
We proceeded to walk 5 minutes away for a great meal, and wonderful evening.

Olive Bar, on Division Street in the city centre, has organised a James Bond Ball to take place on New Year's Eve. Tickets are on sale now and places are limited, as this is a ticket-only event.
Standard tickets cost £10 and include two glasses of champagne. Also available are £30 tickets that also include dinner (7:30PM - 9:30PM).

Olive Bar & Restaurant on Division Street has launched a new wine menu. They have switched to Yorkshire's 'Pagendam Pratt', a small, specialist wine supplier, and feel that the new wines are better in comparison to their predecessors.
The city centre bar is also selling off the remaining stock as bin ends for £10 per bottle, so why not call in and pick up a bargain?

We have replaced Hush bar on Division Street in Sheffield city centre with Olive Bar & Restaurant. The new venue "offers a fresh contemporary surrounding and is blessed by one of the best heated garden areas in the city centre."
