We went to the Ivory Bar & Restaurant recently on a Saturday afternoon to see what their bar food was like, as we had heard some good stuff about the restaurant and wanted to try it.

The bar food is a selection of small plates, which were very good, not food in a bag crap but samples dishes of the mains like pork belly, king prawns, chunky chips (and they are the best chips).

I would definitely recommend the place, and the staff were spot on.

We have now been to the Ivory Bar & Restaurant at least 3 times with friends, and each time think it may be better than the time before - but it's not, it's worse!

The staff try very hard, but they are bar staff not restaurant staff and don't have much idea. The menu reads very well and we have got quite excited reading it, only to be disappointed when the food arrives. I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone who is really interested in food as it is rubbish, and we won't be going again. Don't waste your time or money!
