I recently called in to the Circle for a quick one on the way home from work and ended up staying 'til after midnight!

A great friendly atmosphere and a fantastic refurbishment on what used to be a very dodgy pub. The landlady & landlord were very friendly and the beer was top notch. I returned the following evening, as there was a band playing upstairs, and had yet another fantastic night.

The only downside was there was no food available, but I was told the kitchen was under construction and food would be served early October. A very nice place to go, it had a 'friendly local atmosphere', a refreshing change to most city centre pubs, which can be very anonymous and sometimes unwelcoming.
